The following services are available.
FlowHive Assembly
People often get a FlowHive and find they are not sure how to put it together or don’t have the time or just have plenty of better things to do. If this is you John can help.
If you would like your hive put together the cost is $100. Sealing or painting the hive is extra.
Sealing with tung oil $30 including oil
Painting the hive (you supply the paint – one colour) $50
Painting the hive (paint of a plain colour that I have on hand – one colour) $40
If you want something a bit fancier it might be best to paint it yourself or find someone who can paint it for you. John really is not an artist lol
FlowHive Maintenance
If you are not sure about what do to when inspect you hive and you want some advise or help or you just don’t have time to maintain your hive John can help with this.
To do a hive inspection including the honey flow and Brood inspection $50
Honey extraction $50 (you need to supply jars or jars can be supplied by John at a cost. Ask about this when you enquire)
